Las Vegas Neil Diamond Tribute Show

ROB GARRETT’S “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute” Las Vegas tribute show is still thrilling audiences in the “Alexis Park Modern Showrooms” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.

The legendary Neil Diamond is one of the best-selling and most iconic singer/songwriters in contemporary pop-rock music history.

More than just being one of the biggest selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also created and performed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In January 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond retired from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

However, Diamond’s live performance legacy continues to be preserved for audiences worldwide through longtime Las Vegas performer Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Google “who is America’s number one Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll hear the same name.

Like his idol, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In May 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to Las Vegas, where, at age 16, he witnessed his first live Neil Diamond show when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Theater for the Performing Arts (now “PH Live”) in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him 16 more times across the country—right up until Diamond’s final U.S. concert at the Los Angeles Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from cover band frontman to a tribute artist dedicated to one of his musical idols.

In 1995, Garrett was hand-picked by Paul Revere (of The Raiders) to portray Neil Diamond in the “Legends in Concert” show in Honolulu, Hawaii.

What was meant to be a three-month trial turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a steady touring schedule, building a strong worldwide fan community along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds.”

He continues to draw packed houses nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.

Garrett has also received multiple accolades, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since he (Diamond) announced his retirement, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show Las Vegas family friendly any other tribute artist.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only continuous Neil Diamond tribute in the U.S..
